Strive to Drive

STRIVE TO DRIVE  is a two week course, where we prepare our customers for the NEW JERSEY MOTOR VEHICLE COMMISSIONS (NJMVC) Permit Examination.

Who is eligible for Strive to Drive?

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) & Passaic County Residents.

License Restoration

Greater Paterson OIC provide help, assistance and counseling for WFNJ/TANF customers that are either in danger of losing their Drivers License or have had the Driving Privileges Suspended for the following reasons:

  •  Failure to appear in court or to pay fines i.e., tickets
  •  Failure to pay Motor Vehicle Surcharges
  •  Driving While Suspended
  •  Traffic Violations
  •  Failure to respond to a MVC notice

Vehicle Maintenance

How do you get started with this process?

Any WFNJ/TANF customer applying for assistance with the Up County Vehicle Maintenance Program must:

  •  Be a residences of Passaic County
  •  Have an active/open case with PCBSS
  •  Provided Proper Referral Form from (Case Manager,  Supervisor, AUTH. Agency Contact Person)
  •  Provided Copy Vehicle Title (document ownership)
  •  Provide Copy Proof of Registration
